General Donation Program

Thank you for supporting the Texas Authors Institute of History, Inc., museum. The only museum in the country that supports a state's authors group in all genres.

Your support will help us to continue our various programs, but also help us to build a museum and cultural center that will allow for writing programs & events, safe storage of the rich history of Texas Authors, and inspire the future of Texas writers.

Our goal is to have the museum built and opened by March 2, 2036, the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Texas as a republic. A very appropriate day to open this unique museum.

You can select to make a monthly donation or an annual donation from the two PayPal options below.

Support Texas Authors & Shape the Future of Literacy

Texas Authors Institute of History (TAMIH) is the first museum in the nation dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich literary history of Texas Authors. Our mission is simple but powerful:

  • Preserve the past by collecting, archiving, and sharing the works of Texas Authors.
  • Empower the present by creating programs and events that support current authors and engage readers.
  • Inspire the future by ensuring every Texan has the opportunity to read, write, and share their story.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (pending), we rely on the generosity of sponsors and donors to make this vision a reality.

Why Your Sponsorship Matters

Since 2015, with the help of our sister organizations — Authors Marketing International, LLC, and DEAR Texas, Inc. — we have:

  • Grown our physical collection of Texas-authored books and memorabilia.
  • Expanded our online presence to spotlight authors statewide.
  • Created literacy programs and events that inspire future generations of Texas writers.

There are an estimated one million books written by Texas authors over the last two centuries. TAMIH is committed to building a facility to house these works and to serve as a hub for literacy and creativity across the state.

A Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Your sponsorship directly supports programs that amplify the voices of minority authors — including Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and disabled writers — ensuring their stories are preserved and shared with readers everywhere. Sponsorship also funds literacy initiatives in underserved communities, connecting minority readers with books that reflect their lives and experiences.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We offer sponsorships at multiple levels to fit your goals and budget. All sponsorships are valid for one year from the date of payment.

Local Event Sponsorships

These opportunities support individual events and help cover the cost of programming, materials, and outreach.

$500 – Reading Partner (Unlimited)

  • Name & logo on event website with a short description and link.
  • Logo printed on all event materials at the base sponsorship level.

$1,000 – Fanatic Reader (12 Available)

  • All Reading Partner benefits.
  • Larger, more prominent logo placement above Reading Partner sponsors.

$2,500 – Book Nerd (4 Available)

  • All Fanatic Reader benefits.
  • Listed as a major event sponsor and recognized during programs.
  • Two complimentary event tickets (if applicable).

Statewide Sponsorships

These levels support TAMIH across all events and programs throughout the year.

$10,000 – Jr. Super Reader (2 Available)

  • All Book Nerd benefits.
  • Prominent logo placement on statewide event banners and materials.
  • Recognition as a major sponsor for one statewide event.
  • Four complimentary event tickets.

$25,000 – Super Reader (1 Available)

  • The highest level of recognition with top-tier logo placement.
  • Recognition as a major sponsor for two statewide events.
  • Eight complimentary event tickets.
  • Exclusive opportunities to connect with authors, readers, and state leaders to showcase your commitment to Texas literary culture.

The Impact of Your Support

When you sponsor TAMIH, you’re doing more than putting your logo on an event banner — you’re:

  • Preserving Texas history by helping us build the nation’s only Texas Authors Museum.
  • Supporting minority voices by funding programs that highlight diverse authors and bring their stories to readers statewide.
  • Strengthening literacy by giving future generations the tools and inspiration to write, create, and dream.
  • Positioning your brand as a champion for education, creativity, and equality.

Together, we can ensure that Texas’ literary legacy — past, present, and future — is celebrated and accessible for all.
